There are two types of videos that I offer. There is the Session Proof Video and the Custom Video.
The Session Proof Video is a video I put together with the images from your session (the ones you see in your proof gallery). This video is created by me with my choice of style, music and text. This low res video is included added in your proof gallery for you to view at no additional charge. I will also post this video on facebook for you to share with friends and family (you will need to add me as a friend). This video is available for purchase on DVD “as is”. This means you can purchase it exactly how you see it, no changes can be requested. It will be put on DVD as a high res video and that option is $30 for the first disc and $10 for the second and so on. This is a great way to “keep all” your images when it is too hard to narrow down the images for printing. Let no picture be left behind! Even though these are just of you session proofs, they are really awesome and make a great gift. Seeing is believing check out the example of a Session Proof Video from a family session below and then check out the Custom Video under the second section.
Now, if you really like the Session Proof Video I made for you, but you want to take out a few shots that you don’t love quite so much, or you want to add quotes and text and perhaps have more say in the style and music of the video then you need a Custom Video. This option is a high res video on DVD for $50 with additional copies at $15. With this option you tell me what images you want to use or NOT use. You let me know of any quotes or text you want in the video. I will then create a video and you get to then let me know if you want to change the music. I can not make videos with copyrighted music that you send me. I have access to about a 1000 songs I have licence to use in your video. You have the option to make up to three revisions. This is an awesome way to tell a story with your images and are a great keepsake and gift. Here is an example of a Custom Video with the same session used in the above Session Proof Video.
I also offer videos of image you submit to me, your snapshots etc please contact me for a quote for this as it may require extra work to prepare your images for the video.

Yes, I do make custom cards from your session images! Oh and hey, I can make them from images YOU take on your camera as well! Or use images from other photographers *. I have quite a few designs that I have worked up through the years that I can try out on your images or I can go even more custom and design something brand new for you. You always have the option of what the card says and most premade design colors can be changed.

Choose your image or images from your gallery with me, or send me your image file *, request a design from my gallery, or request a custom card. No payment is required from you until you have approved your card for printing….how cool is that!
When you order a photo card, I will use the image(s) that you supply (or images from your photo session with me) to create your unique announcement , invitation or greeting card. Or you can choose from one of the designs you have seen in the gallery.
Your card can be printed as a 4×6, 5×7, or 5×5 and will include envelopes (please remember that some sizes envelopes require extra postage from the post office).
Prices INCLUDE all photo enhancements of the original image or images submitted. Please send me original, unaltered images, and I will make any changes (like converting to black and white) that is required). I will send you my work in progress and will make revisions until YOU think it is perfect.
Payment for cards need to be made before order is placed. You will be sent an invoice from me via Google Checkout and when your credit card payment is received you order is placed. If you need to pay by cash or check please give adequate time for the payment to be received by me through the mail….this option could delay your order.
Photo cards do take time some time from start to finish (unless you use an existing layout from the gallery), so please allow enough time for me to custom create your card, have you proof it, have it processed and shipped to you. If there is a time issue we can work together to get the card made very quickly if necessary, please let me know if time is an issue when you order your card.
Due to the personalized nature of my products, I do not accept returns. In the event any order was produced incorrectly due to an error entirely on my part, I will promptly re-produce the item(s) and ship them free of charge.
Please consider that The PROOF PROCESS is extremely CRITICAL – it is imperative that you check your proof carefully and completely, particularly in regards to spelling and punctuation. Errors that are found after printing, are the sole responsibility of the customer. By submitting your order, you are agreeing to this policy.

I respect and uphold the legal rights of photographers and image authors. It is UNLAWFUL for me to reproduce images that are copyrighted without the express written permission of the person or entity that created the original work. If you have a copyrighted image, please contact the photographer to request a signed copyright release; once provided, we will keep this for our files.
If you choose to scan your professionally taken images on your own, for the sole purpose of making copies, YOU are assuming the legal risk for violating any copyright.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you have been provided printable resolution images on CD from your photographer, we do not need a copyright release for these images. However, it should be noted that it is not always the intent of the photographer to provide a “blanket release” even if they have supplied these images to you. By submitting these images to me, you agree to assume full responsibility if any conflicts arise with the photographer.
If you have a studio image (particularly cruise pictures, sports photos and school portraits) that does not indicate who created the work and you are not aware who created the work, you may be able to claim that the work you are requesting is for “fair use,” and that you are unaware, or are unable to contact the photographer.
(Copyright Indemnification) Purchaser agrees to hold harmless Carrie Bassett Photography LLC for all costs, expenses, attorney’s fees or judgments resulting from any claims or lawsuit made against for any grounds claiming that the work produced violates any copyright or proprietary right of any person or entity.
All images, both in print and online, are the sole property Carrie Bassett Photography LLC. It is unlawful to reproduce images in any way, and violators will be prosecuted. Scanning, reprinting, reproducing of images, in any fashion is illegal, with penalties starting at $150,000. My art is how I contribute to my family, and violating these laws steals from my family. Copying images also compromises the integrity of the image quality, which can result in compromising the integrity of my business. This is brought up mainly because today there is a lovely social site called Facebook. I LOVE Facebook and would love for you to display the images I make of you and or your family on your Facebook account. If there are any images from your session that you would like to use as a Facebook profile picture or in your photo gallery, please let me know and I will send you a low resolution file that is perfect for Facebook. I am not charging at this time for this awesome bonus BUT I do have a few rules. Any image I send you for this purpose will have my logo on the image as a watermark and you may not crop the images in a way that removes this from the image. The size image I send you is perfect for web viewing but in no way is of a quality to make prints from.
